Sight

The font on our Aggregator is a mite small. If you are using the Firefox browser (highly recommended), click Ctrl+ to enlarge the font size. (I like to sit about 3.5' from my monitor and am doing this all the time.)

Response to a community member's questions

Thanks very much for writing.

Part of my approach in the Unworkshop is to have you experience what other online learners go through. Imagine trying to figure this out if you didn't know what a blog was.

Talking with another participant is a wonderful way to learn. So-and-so knows a lot and is quite generous with his ideas.

I've posted instructions on aggregator set-up on the wiki (Learning Ecosystem). Good catch. (Click "Settings" in the top row.)

Confusion over which channel to use for communication is natural, since I was purposely vague. Given the flexibility of the web, you can actually use any of them. More important to me, it's like the schools that don't put in sidewalks until they see where students have worn the grass away in following their natural paths; we'll gravitate toward whatever works best for us. (I once worked at a company that swore by Lotus Notes. Only problem was that nobody used it. Email was a poor workaround but it was all we had.)

You're absolutely correct about Breeze. My introduction of it was confusing. I got flustered when my web cam mysteriously disappeared. I'll work on some instructions and a demo tomorrow.
